Today's word is 'words' :) I had grand plans to get home early, go for a walk around the neighbourhood to get some extra steps in for the 10000 step challenge, and get pics of lots of different words. I even made it home in time, for once. Then found I'd left my keys at work. And the camera was in the house... By the time I'd gone to other-half's work, got his keys and got back, it was time to let the feathered ones out instead, so I had to get more creative. I made an ambigram of the word 'words' (it took quite a while!). Can you see the words in the picture? (I'll try to post a clearer view of the 'word' when I get chance...
This is really well done. I was thinking of you today as I was walking across the city to a meeting and thinking I don't think I am going to make 10,000 steps today. I was wondering how you were going with your 10,000 steps?
@nicolecampbell not well so far - my students assignments were due today, so I've spent most of this week in my office answering questions and giving extensions etc... Hopefully I might get some extra walking in tomorrow. At least the pointe practice I did tonight gets me another 1000 steps or so...
that just sucks, doesn't it? happened to me many times and it doesn't help as i get older. hahahaha! these days you won't believe how many times i' go back and forth before i reach the front door of my building thinking i left something. there will be days like that but you just have to put it in perspective. maybe walking around you'd step on a banana peel and you break your camera or worse your ankle. things happen for a reason.
like this: this is a very clever set up, alia. i'd never have thought of doing something like this, i'd probably just have invoked the 'wildcard' option. smart thinking! well done.
Definitely a creative alternative to what you had planned! This is something I'd have to stare at forever to see the different words, but once I'd seen them, I'd be able to flip back and forth at will. I also like how you framed this- like we're looking through a microscope or telescope to see it. Cool!
