Lorikeet visit

Phoenix spent the morning watching the street, as usual at the weekend. This morning there was a lot of flapping and squawking going on, which left her a bit perplexed... After closer investigation (me looking out of the window) we spotted a big group of lorikeets clambering around in the tree opposite. I had to grab this shot through the window before Magic spotted the camera, but I think it worked out ok...

@indianabluejay I think I'm finally managing to train Magic to ignore the camera, using lots of positive reinforcement (praise and scritches) whenever she leaves it alone...

wow! i'd give anything to see something like this (well, not really anything hehehe). but this is fantastic. i only get to see this in special parks and zoos! great shot!
