Opposites challenge - Dreams by alia_801

Opposites challenge - Dreams

I'm lucky enough that many of my dreams have come true - getting good results at school, college and university, getting a job in Australia, visiting different places around the world, seeing stromatolites and swimming at Ningaloo Reef...

My main dream now is to move back to the UK, to my beloved Wales. (My other half has permanent work out here, so it's probably not going to be for a while). I miss my friends, family and the amazing old castles, churches and other features around the country. I'm sure my dream will come true eventually...

(The pic is a Welsh flag we have, edited in picnik to make it more dreamlike)

Made me smile as we live in North Wales. Originally from South Wales and my wife comes from Barry, Julia Gillard's birthplace. I am sure you will have a great welcome home. What is missing Wales called? Ah yes, The Hiraeth

Cymru! I love that place. I went to see Snowden with a tour once, but there was one woman who made us late... so we caught the Ffestiniogge (?) halfway down... what a lovely train trip! I totally enjoyed that one; falling asleep as we travelled.

I also bought a pair of Gargoyle ear-rings made of brass that I've never seen anywhere else.... had to fight to get them as they were the last pair in the store and paid about $15.00 for them; and they are well worth it too. Once in a while, I take them to a jeweler and get them polished to a high shine... gorgeous!
