I had big plans for todays shot, given that I live with what have to be some of the loudest parrots in existence. Unfortunately Magic took even more exception to the camera than usual, resulting in a big hole in my thumb where her beaky attack on the clicky-big-eyed-black-box missed its intended target... I've finally stopped the bleeding. In the end I resorted to a game of peek-a-boo after she went to bed, but despite my best efforts (and about 30 shots) I didn't get any of her squawking... So you'll just have to take my word for it - she's loud!
Number one, ouch, but been there. Sira bit me in the nose once when i pointed a camera at him. Two I have seen that posture from a Sun Conure on more than one occasion, she was not happy with you and the big clicky thing, three I agree they are the loudest things on the planet when they want to be and four it is a cool shot :-)
Sorry to hear about the finger! Isn't it interesting she clams up when you go to take a shot- sort of like children who ham it up until the camera comes out and then they become so shy! But you tried!
