We went for a walk in Sherbrooke Forest this morning - it started out well, but one part of the track was a little steeper and more slippery than we'd imagined... Still, we both made it around safely.
Today's challenge word is 'hope'. One of my hopes is that we, as a species, really start to recognise how beautiful and amazing our world is, and to really start to take care of it. The forest we went to is part of a national park, full of native birds and plants. We need more of these special places, and to really look after those we have.
Yeah, perhaps we should start with banning those fear-based lawyers from becoming politicians? That would be a good start, methinks! Vote more Dalai Llamas into office and stuff...
This is beautiful, BTW. Thanks for sharing....
I was just talking to a friend the other day about how woods are so lovely to be out walking in, but if you try to capture it in a photo, it doesn't work. This does work! I like the spray of greenery, the vertical lines of the dark trunks....the depth of it....n ice.
I agree with @espyetta , it is very difficult for me to capture our wooded areas. A joy to be in, but so tangled I can't catch the feel. You have done a superb job here.
Green is definitely a very hopeful color! I thought I might have to use one of those wildcards sooner- but it looks like I finished the opposites all in row. Let's see if the wildcard shots work out that way too. Beautiful forest shot!
Looks like a beautiful place to see! I totally agree, the world is an amazing place and we need to appreciate and take care of it. Lovely shot, lovely thoughts!
Sherwood Forest is so beautiful, isn't it? I have a friend who lives round the corner, so she gets to walk in it every day! jealous! really like the greens in this pic.
this is beautiful. the leaves are so fresh and their colours vivid. "foliage" feature works! hope springs eternal...it's what this picture speaks of. great work.
