Where you relax - March challenge (with added parrots)

Here are the girls relaxing :) Magic is a people parrot, so likes to chill out with us - anything from sitting on shoulders, peeking out of t-shirts or snuggling into a hand will keep her happy. Phoenix is her own parrot, and prefers to lounge around on her toys or perches, keeping a careful eye on proceedings from a safe distance. (She has been known to sit on my head from time to time though).
I relax by being around my wonderful feathered girls :)

I tried out a new online photo editing package today - picture2life.com. It's a bit clunky to use, but seems to have a lot of good stuff. Not quite as user friendly as picnik, but still promising.

I wish I was a parrot so I would know what kind of shot to take for this picture!! Off to a birthday party today, so I might have to post it tonight. At any rate- great shots! I have enjoyed seeing the girls throughout the month. I imagine they'll pop in for a few of the A words though!

@nicolecampbell We got Magic from a local friend whose parrots had babies. She was hand-raised and we got her at a few months old. Phoenix came to us through a bird dealer, but we think of her more as a rescue. We got her a year or so after Magic, but she's actually a bit older.
