What I love about being me #2 - Thankful 4 challenge

I'm a scientist by training and (until recently) by profession. I've always enjoyed numbers, patterns and thinking analytically. I'm lucky too that I've always loved (and had some -albeit limited- ability for) dance. I see beauty in equations that, in a few symbols, can sum up the Universe, but likewise, I admire anyone who can draw or paint anything that looks like a person, and those who can paint textures and fabric leave me in awe. I love that I can stand with a foot in both worlds, take in the view from both perspectives, and find an even greater whole.

Love your shot. Beautifully presented. I admire those who are good with maths and numbers. I can't even memorize cellphone numbers, not even my own home number. (I just carry the numbers around on a piece of paper in my wallet. XD ) I prefer words. Numbers are my kryptonite. 8D

This is a really well composed photo and captures both parts of your life. I have never been interested in science and just never 'got' it. I was more into English and History.

Beautifully composed shot, Alia. My granddaughter used to go to ballet school until last term before summer. Pity she had been learning ballet for some 4 years and then let them go like the wind.

Nice collage Alia. It really describes you well! I have always admired anyone who can stand, and dance, on toe shoes! I was never good at the mathematical sciences, but I do love learning about the natural world. However, any time I was allowed to take an elective, I was in the art room!

This is so interesting to me. I am so much into words and pictures. My husband is all music and drama, very kinetic, but my son is math and historical data. Then there is the son who is only ever about fishing and women.
