Family traditions #4 - Thankful 4 challenge

We don't have many traditions in our family, so I'm really scraping the barrel for ideas this week - I really don't know what I'm going to do for next week's shot!

Phoenix's favourite treat is dried pasta (or 'pastums' as they are called in our house, for some reason lost to the depths of time). She likes to crunch away on them, and we have little pots of them all over the house. She's tried a few different shapes, but these twisty ones are her favourites. (I should have got a pic of her with them, but it wasn't until other half got home and suggested it after her bedtime that I had chance to get the pic).

I can just imagine Phioenix going from bowl to bowl around your house! Sounds like your girls have quite a bit to be thankful for - including you! - If you don't have many traditions you could always create a new one - nothing says it has to be an old family tradition! Lol

At least Alia, you used your thoughts to get where you did. and that is good. If you like it, that's what matters

We have traditions but don`t call it that way. The visits when we have birthday and Christmas for example.
Cool shot and a lovely info .

I'd struggle with tradition too.
Love the simple composition.

I too would struggle with traditions. We don't have many either. This is a cool shot.

Traditions are hard, especially here when we don't really celebrate that many holidays.

Well, at least you have a full week to prepare for the next one! All my traditions are in flux- it's sort of unsettling.

This is where we have to look more inward to see the thing we overlook daily. You have more traditions than you can see because of the holidays. This time of year we focus more on the holiday traditions but they are not the only family traditions.

@olivetreeann --- We can use older pictures as well. Also, maybe an interpretation of a past tradition would be easier to do. We can be thankful for those moments that no longer exist, as well.

Your birds are so spoiled! But I love the stories you tell about them. They are like your kids. That's so cool. It's great you give them treats like this. Nice tradition!
