Nice and bright! I've found that high key shots work out better if you can separate the object more from the background (helps get rid of shadows). Something to try.
Very pretty! I had an idea of a high-key/over exposed shot of you lacing them up- just the hands and feet- light coming from behind mostly but enough coming from the front to get the outline of the laces and hands. I wonder if that's possible? After this week, I feel like I really know nothing about how to over expose on purpose!
Nice shot! I like how the ballet slippers have a soft look to them. Oh I do hope that they are ballet slippers! The focus is great and the tone of the photo is as well. Great job! And like Ann, I wouldn't know how to overexpose on purpose either! I can do it by accident though!
@archaeofrog Thanks for the tip! I'll try it out when I get chance :) @olivetreeann If I had a very patient model and several hours I could probably (accidentally) get that to work, but I think my chances with self-timer would be zero! It sounds like it would be a pretty shot in the hands of someone competent! :)
@prttblues Thanks! Yep, these are pointe shoes (a type of ballet slipper). I definitely don't do well with this over/under exposing thing! @attraversi@filsie65 For once I actually thought about composition and where to put the ribbons, so I'm glad you like them there! :)
