The drops on the glass are annoying me here, but I knocked everything over while setting this up. I thought I'd dried them off, but somehow missed them all, and smudged the glass in the process... This is the third attempt in chaotic attempt at the pic so I give up - droplets will remain...
I like the effect the flash has with that reflection behind the glass. Don't get too frustrated- I think you've accomplished your goal of trying different lighting. You can see the differences in the thumb nails.
