I'm visiting Other Half's parents for a couple of days. Today his mum took us to a lovely cafe next to a river. One wall is all windows, and outside is a huge bird table and set of feeders. We spent an hour watching chaffinches, goldfinches, various tits, a nuthatch, robin and squirrel roaming around and finding food. Here's Mr Robin.
@markp is right, that one has been banded. I hate that practice. One of my babies got the band caught and broke a leg once so I had all our leg bands removed and microchipped instead.
