Yesterday I got my feet wet. Today I decided to jump off the edge of the pool. Here I am in my hotel room before setting out for a day of school visits and workshops. I chose the antique effect to commemorate 20+ years of being a librarian. Now I have discharged my obligation and await Mrs. Smith's homework assignment.
Allison, this is a lovely self-portrait and the ruffled neck on your blouse is very timely! I'm glad you decided to join us ... I have yet to fo a "full-frontal" ... maybe today will be the day!
And, no, I do NOT have a green thumb! My African Violet seems to thrive on neglect! LOL!
Oh Allison, it's so nice to meet you up close! You look lovely, but we already knew you would be, sweet, funny, glib personality and all! Thank you so much for joining the merry band here... We'll meet again around the corner in the teacher's classroom...
Well, hello there, AllisonI love this shot! And I love your librarian status. Worked for a non-profit that worked with public libraries and was able to attend the American Library Assoc.Conferences for over 17 years! Librarians are the greatest! :-)
haha! I know that you can do the assignment as well. I like the affects on this picture. So good...and it's nice to meet you! :) I hope that you are having fun...!
You are all too kind. I know where to come when I need an ego boost. Have I got a picture for tomorrow!! I won't say any more except Charlie will flip!
Thanks for the lovely comment, Allison! I was just reflecting on how this 365 has morphed since we started on January 1st ... I went back through my early photos (boy, have I gotten better - LOL!). There were very few comments back then, and YOU were my *first* 365 friend!
And, no, I do NOT have a green thumb! My African Violet seems to thrive on neglect! LOL!
