It's only the first week of May -- maybe its not too late for some bird to claim this spot. Most songbirds raise at least 2 sets of babies each season so we can still hope that the little nest won't stay abandoned.
did this nest overwinter from last sesson find that hard to believe but maybe you don't have snow where you live. it looks like a nice home.
what kind of bird would be happy to live there?? great photo
Alison may i ask you if you would find the time and check out my May 2nd photo car dealership i don't know if i tagged it correctly for the nytime theme or should i send it to you per e-mail? thank you Bruni
Maybe they thought it needed too much renovating.......
And that dog of mine is ruled by his stomach.....Begging is just a means to fill it.
Oh and the question you asked about the roos that visit, a few days ago. They are not common, but probably at least once a month. We are lucky enough to live next to a national park
thank you for your prompt reply i have tried to send it to nytimes but do you have to be a member first unless i don't have the right e-mail address i haven't been able to send it yet.
