I walked by the games table in the library after the kids had left the scene and found this wonderful construction of checkers. I love the symmetry, the shape, the use of color and best of all the structure at the top. If you ask me, someone was having a lot more fun than a game of checkers.
How creative. Can't help but think the kid who did that is a visual learner and can't seem to pay attention during the courses that don't teach the way he learns.
Good for you for taking this photo...I walked right past this that table today AND saw this...actually stopped and looked at b/c I thought it was pretty amazing. HOWEVER, it never dawned on me to take a photo of it! You are so much more "aware" than I am...and that was one of my goals with this project...some days I do OK and other days I feel like I am walking around with my eyes shut!
