I wasn't sure of the definition of statue for this week's theme, but from the entries I've looked at so far, I'm thinking we are using a broad interpretation. So here is the little statue given to my husband by a sidewalk vendor in --you guessed it--Pisa when he bought an armload of scarves for his female coworkers. She presented it to him with a flourish, proudly announcing, "Present, present!"
Since the statue by itself was kind of boring, I added a picture of me from the same trip, taken at Villa d'Este's Oval Fountain north of Rome. Both the picture and the little tower bring back wonderful memories of a great holiday.
My photo of today's seminar - Rudy is actually on the stage, below the big screen. The only presenter who was not there in person was Sarah Palin. She spoke via satellite. She said some stupid stuff like "My 2-yr. old welcomes each day by standing in his crib and clapping. We should all great each new day by clapping...wouldn't that be nice?" People were exiting in 'herds' because she was so horrible.
In regards to your comment that my feeder reminds you of tic-tac-toe - made me think of Hollywood Squares!
