Up in the Air

This is one of several statues on school grounds crafted by noted contemporary sculptor Slaithong Schutzmart. (I can assure you I didn't have that name committed to memory.) The mother in this piece seems to be a target for any low flying bird. You can see their handiwork on her chest.

Oh, Allison...you did such a good job framing this. I kept looking at those 2 statues all week but b/c I had taken photos of each of them before I decided not to this week...now really happy I did not b/c I would not have done as good a job as you have...like how you got the top of the statue so you could include the sky...love it!
