lucky you. here on the first day of summer it was very cool
no sun, cloudy and a bit of rain ..but that didn't matter as it was my husbands birthday and we were fortunate to spend it with his entire family in his home town in Remscheid. (by the way i uploaded a picture for you today)
36 ºC - now that's hot... and we're complaining today because it is 20 ºC in Belfast!!!! (68 ºF) This is midsummer day and maybe the hottest of our summer!!!
Really nice photo with a great angle. I couldn't make it outside today. I stood about a foot from the office window and the heat coming through it was horrible. I'll be leaving the office in the next 10-minutes and I'm not looking forward to the short walk across the parking lot. It's even too hot to put the top down for the 10-minute drive home - I'll cook my brain. I'd love to go for a swim when I get home, but the moment I step into the air conditioning I will not want to come back out.
Thank you for your kind comments on my recent photos! I appreciate all of the support I have received recently. Hopefully things are really looking up again but how wonderful to have such nice people such as yourself to give a little lift when we are feeling down. *hugs*
And here it is winter.....getting to about 7 C tonight which is about 47 F and looking forward to a top of 15 tomorrow, about 60F.
Love how you have taken this photo
What a fabulous shot. Winter where I am so icy cold drinks are not top priority however in Brisbane we do have a large variance between our temperatures as we can go from 9 C overnight to 24 C during the middle of the day during winter. However for us anything below 15 C is "freezing!!".
Looking at this picture and your next one I can see we had similar ideas for the refreshing theme. I spent today going around watering things in the garden, holding up bottles of water and glasses of coke lol and finding fruit to photograph. I have yet to choose my one pic from about 70! This is a great take on the bottled water.

I couldn't resist...and *YOU* made me think of it... (surely it crossed your mind, too :-)
Thanks for the compliment on my Oh Canada picture...I'll live without that huge camera...and will be glad I don't have to carry it with me everywhere!

Im not a fan of mineral water, but I did have a San Pel with orange, and it was kind of tasty!
