My last Maddie picture for awhile since we are leaving first thing tomorrow morning. The instructor, Miss Mimi, let me slip into class the last 10 minutes and take pictures. I have old photographs of my mother as a young ballet dancer so it was especially moving to me to see Maddie leading the troupe of little ballerinas.
Maddie looks so adorable in this picture -- how special that she is able to be the leader of this troupe during your visit.
I am so sorry that your visit time with Maddie is coming to an end already. Perhaps starting next year she'll be old enough to come to Virginia and spend a week or two with you....wouldn't that be grand?
I definitely agree. Unfortunately Maddie's parents are divorced and she spends half of each week with our son. That makes an extended stay impossible at this time. Maybe when she is a little older.
OMG, that's not only so sweet to see this darling picture, but as a mom myself, I was struck that Ashley was the first to leave a comment. It was like yesterday that she was in Maddie's spot as a baby dancer...and she's a dancer to this day. Makes me smile to think she jumped right in on this picture; I know why!
oh just look at their poses. reminds me of when my granddaughter was younger, she took figure skating. what a picture she made. unfortunately she gave it up. today she wished she hadn't done it.
