And not only that, our school is being proactive and declaring a Snow Day for Grades K-7 before a single flake of snow has fallen. Exams for grades 8-12 may or may not take place depending on road conditions. Students should check between 5 and 6 AM. And what is the cause of this flurry (if you'll excuse the pun) of pre-planning? I'm embarrassed to tell you 365-ers from Indiana, Ohio, Wisconsin, and Canada. A forecast of a potential snowfall of 3 to 5 inches. Yup; This is the true Southern response to winter weather.
that's funny---TX is the same way when there is a chance for ICE on the roads---people just arent used to driving on the icy roads at all!! great pic--love the flare!
Ali, I know what you mean about southern response to winter weather. I have children in South Carolina......

@sj Although my division of school is cancelled tomorrow the Upper School will take 2 exams on Friday so they will be finished before the holidays. I feel a little twinge of guilt that we can stay home, but I'm not losing any sleep over it!
Great shot, love the sun flare.
