Christmas Eve our son took us to see the beautiful display of Christmas lights at the North Central Florida Medical Center. Every year the hospital provides this gift to the community free of charge. We got there about 9:30 and there were many families strolling around the lake, enjoying the holiday atmosphere. It was a great way to tire the kids so they would be ready to fall asleep when they got home. The weather was cold and clear, just right for seeing Santa and reindeer and other figures made of lights and magic.
I drove through 2 hours of snow yesterday...got home about 4:15 but the temps were still hovering above the freezing mark so the roads were fine. It has stopped snowing now...at least in Short Pump, it has. East of the city and on to the coast is getting the brunt of it. We got about 4-5 inches. Main roads are good now. I'm heading out to the grocery store. Have not been there in a couple weeks...the cupboard and fridge are bare but I fear so will the store be d/t Christmas yesterday and the storm today!
A nice Christmas scene with reflection. so pretty. we also have a ark close by where not only a Christmas tree is sprouting colorful lights but also fairy tale character all lit up..I never get tired of watching them.
Wishing you & yours a wonderful Christmas & New Year.
We had a great Christmas Day with family & friends.
