Refrigerator Gallery

Where ever we travel, we buy a special magnet and display it either on the refrigerator or on a filing cabinet upstairs. I love looking at these treasures and remembering the far distant places and the good times we had there. Isn't "souvenir" the perfect word to describe these momentos since in French it means "to remember"?

Have you been to the Blackfriars' theater in Staunton? If you like Shakespeare you should check it out! That's quite a collection of magnets. Good way to remember the fun times!

I collect magnets and put them on the frig too! It's fun to look at them and remember the trips that I took when I bought them. In the beginning, there were only a few, but now they're threatening to take over!

I have a stainless steel refrigerator and it will not hold magnets. darn.
miss haveing them on there....as you say they are a great way to remember..

Those are some nice refrigerator magnets! Just saw bruni's comment...we switched to stainless steel, and I have a shoebox full of magnets. I miss them too! Didn't you just LOVE Capri?! *sigh*

@ellen I did love Capri, one of my husband's favorite places. I guess I won't be getting a new refrigerator any time soon. I couldn't bear to give up my magnets!
