Big and Little Ladies Tea by allie912

Big and Little Ladies Tea

Today after the 11 o'clock worship service, we had the first annual Big and Little Ladies' Tea at my church. What a wonderful time of fellowship it was. We had a chance to visit with women and girls of all ages and generations, sharing dainty sandwiches, fruit and sweets and of course all kinds of tea. I sat with 2 ladies who had been members since the 1950's and 2 young mothers. One new Mom had her 2 month old baby as well as her mother-in-law visiting from Blacksburg, VA, about 200 miles away. The other mom was traveling solo because her child is a boy, and today was just for the girls!
What a lovely idea and such a cute picture. Love the way you've framed it too.

What a sweetie! That's such a nice idea for the ladies. I hope your church will think of a fun thing for moms and sons to do. Since I had two sons, I always missed out on events like this.

she has an expectant expression on her face which you have captured well. Love the fact that she is in the background tho her presence is dominant!
