The Tomato Lover's Tomato

I found a new tomato variety at the grocery this week. These are called Campari tomatoes and they are hothouse-grown in Mexico. Each fruit is about the size of a ping pong ball but exceedingly sweet and fresh. They taste like summer. I miss summer.

They look like the ones we call vineripe tomatoes. yes a slice of dark ryebread with butter, tomatoes and onins on top..yummy.
