Trust but Verify

Some of you old timers (that includes me) might recognize Ronald Reagan's quote about relations with the Soviet Union. I thought it was appropriate as you admire the embracing shape of these big pink hands and then notice the chains to keep them from being stolen.
I was back in Carytown today to finish my shopping and was able to find a few more quirky things to photograph. It was a lot quieter than Saturday afternoon so I had these chairs to myself, You might wonder how comfortable they are, but to be truthful, I didn't try them out. I just couldn't handle it.
