After a summer of never seeing a butterfly, I finally captured this fellow enjoying the last of the lavender. I consider this a great victory. Can anyone identify this species?
@allie912 I was sort of proud of myself because I typed in Painted Lady and was going to push "post comment" and thought better of it so I double checked my "bug book" and I was right! I chalk it up to 365- I'd never have done the detective work before but now I want to know what I'm seeing and shooting.
