Can You Teach an Old Dog New Tricks?

This scruffy old girl was recently adopted by Meg's friend. She was found wandering by the side of a road. The vet found a chip implanted in her so could estimate her age at about ten years. Unfortunately the chip was never activated so it did not help them track down the original owner. I wish I didn't have to tell you the dog's name, but in the interest of honesty I must announce she is called "Maddie" just like my granddaughter.
I'm glad Maddie found a nice new home. poor dog living on the street.

Awww, so happy she was adopted. What a cute shot! This is very much like we found Daisy 9 years ago. She was about 3 at the time. How unfortunate the chip couldn't be activated, but glad she found a good home.

Such a sad loss for her original family... I hope those people will sense that this little girl found a good home. She certainly looks chipper and active in your photo!

@Weezilou She is remarkably agile for an old girl. She needed to be to get away from three little 5 year olds all gathered at Meg's that day!
