I have been challenged by Chris Ross to do the Five Day Black & White Photo Challenge. I am to post a BW photo each day, for five days, and challenge someone with each posting. I am challenging a high school friend with whom I have reconnected on FaceBook, Charlene Wenz Bauman.
This is a piece of rock used for flint making. It was part of a demonstration of Native American artifacts on display for our First Graders. The rock was beautiful, deep black and shiny with all kinds of swirls and curves. I had a chance to examine the tools after the program but i wasn't there for the presentation, so I don't know where this was found. He'll be back at school tomorrow so maybe I can get my questions answered.
