Urban Art

Do you see the name Mickael Broth on the lower right corner? Well, I Googled the name and discovered an amazing back story. http://rvanews.com/entertainment/refuse-richmond-graffiti-incarceration-mickael-broth/49176 I wish I knew if this was a recent creation by Broth or an homage to his spirit.
so cool!

Love this! Wish Brisbane City Council would allow art like this to be around.

@allie912 We had Anthony Lister do up some walls around Brisbane and they were painted over within about a week. One time, he was hired to paint a mural by an owner of a building and the Brisbane City Council kicked up a stink about it. It made the papers with Anthony arrested for breaking the law, but the owner of the building backed him up and said the he owned the building outright and didn't need a permit to have somebody to paint it seeing it was his... and what Anthony was putting on it was something they had agreed upon previously. The Brisbane City Council had no right to step in at the time. But this happens to Anthony a lot... he's not liked by the councils here but loved overseas.

@mozette I googles Anthony Lister. I should think any city would be proud to call him a native son and display his work.

Although I don't quite understand what it means, it still catches your eye.
