VIP: Very Important Pup

Here is a portrait of a wonderful woman, at the memorial service for her husband Ken. Dot is holding Ken's pride and joy, Gracie. The 10-pound dachshund brightened the last year of her master's life and was his constant companion. She also came to the memorial service and behaved perfectly.
Nice pic, sorry for her loss

I am sure Gracie will give her a lot of joy and memories.

I have a love hate relationship with Dachshunds! They are so smart and so entertaining that I love being around them but they are also so smart that they are little terrors!! I think that Gracie was probably the perfect choice for a constant companion. I would imagine that she gave Ken many hours of smiles that he wouldn't have had otherwise.

@stownsend You are so right, Suzie. Ken was a World War II fighter pilot with 35 missions in Europe but he had a soft spot for his dog!
