According to "Cool Streets of North America" my favorite shopping area gets top marks for the variety of restaurants, music, arts, vintage stores and nightlife offerings. Carytown is one of the top 15 trendiest retail markets in the country for connecting to millennials and incubating retail trends. Here is just one shop, converted from a a private home, that cheers you up just looking at it.
My friend Todd has a music shop there, I used to live on Shepard st when I was a young man! Great place I saw Gone with the wind with my mom at the theater there!! Is plan 9 still there?
@brillomick Believe it or not, Plan 9 is still alive and kicking. They have moved across the street, but there are a lot of people who still want to listen to vinyl.
