It's that time again, when our Fourth Graders perform An American Mosaic, the production that celebrates their study of American history and culture. There are speeches, dances, tableaus, singing and musical instruments as varied as violins and a washboard. The children select the part they want to play, and each shines in his own way. At the end of the hour we all feel inspired and confident that our country will be in good hands when these students become our leaders.
Wonderful collage! Fav. I probably would have had tears in my eyes during the production. In such contentious times, students like these and schools like yours give us hope for the future. I find my granddaughter has a poor understanding of both American history and government--and she has attended well regarded schools.
A great sentiment for ALL people of America Allison.
If only ALL your leaders shared that sentiment
Am I being too simplistic , too idealistic or just don't understand your world
