The Arrival of Publix

Our neighborhood grocery store was shut down and will be rebuilt by the very well regarded chain, Publix. Unfortunately, it will take approximately 18 months to reopen. In the meantime, we are searching for a new store. Today we ventured out to the just-opened Publix about 7 miles from our home. It has everything going for it but convenience. Oh well, it was a fun excursion.

Had to smile- if you think 7 miles is inconvenient, you would hate shopping for anything! in the Poconos!

@olivetreeann I know what you mean. I grew up in a rural area and we thought nothing of going 10 miles for groceries, but now I'm spoiled with a glut of grocery stores in a mile radius.
