Although convocation encompasses all three divisions of our school, my focus is, understandably, on the Lower School. The students march onto the field by class then we all sing the National Anthem, followed by remarks from the Head of School and the leaders of the Upper and Middle School. Fourth Graders sing a song special to anyone who has attended the Lower School --I am a Promise, and we end with the singing of the Alma Mater. It is a wonderful celebration of the Collegiate community and the new school year.
