Collegiate has a strong network of partner schools around the world. Each of these partner schools sends a group to participate in our International Emerging Leaders Conference – bringing students from China, India, Mexico, Spain, South Africa, Italy, Malaysia, Kazakhstan, Lebanon, Morocco and several other nations to our campus every year.
This was the day the young leaders come to the Lower School campus. They share aspects of their respective cultures with the entire Lower School, then go in small groups to individual classrooms to answer questions prepared for them by the members of the class. I had the pleasure of traveling from class to class and recording the connections being formed in the classroom. Collegiate is committed to instilling a global perspective in our students to help them become thoughtful and engaged world citizens.This conference is one of the highlights of the year.
