I went home after my visit to the eye doctor. My eye had been dilated and it seemed like the smart thing to do. Just sitting on the living room couch, I caught sight of a rather large and unexpected bird shape landing on our patio fence. All I had was my iPad and I was afraid if I got too close I would spook him. (which I did, after I took this shot from the couch, through the screen.) Instead of trying to improve upon the lack of detail in my quick shot, I chose to embrace the blurriness and turn the image into a impressionist painting.
What a great visitor - they must have known you needed a bit of cheering up. I'm not keen on that eye procedure myself but need regular check ups and a small price to pay.
