We are still at school trapped until the tornado alert is rescinded. At least our Lower School students got out before the warning was announced. Meanwhile all our Middle and Upper School students and the faculty of the whole school are standing by in hallways, bathrooms and other windowless spaces. Lots of rumbles and bands of heavy rain and tornado sightings all around us. I’m not anxious to leave until the All Clear is announced.
I was just reading that 2 tornadoes touched down outside Richmond and immediately thought of you! My prayers are that you and all the students stay safe and are able to get home without any trouble. My oh my Florence surely is making her presence known!
Oh dear....hope everyone is soon safe and with their loved ones. It's quite shocking to see it on TV news but the reality is hard to comprehend.
