The season for King Cake

King Cake Season Begins on January 6th (Epiphany) Until Fat Tuesday, the day before the start of Lent. Unlike most foods, king cakes are only served during a specific time of the year. King cake season is throughout Carnival, meaning between Epiphany, which is the 12th day after Christmas, until Fat Tuesday (or Mardi Gras)
This one turned up in the Teachers Room. I confess, I had a piece.
It looks like spumoni ice cream!

Hmmmm- looks pretty sweet! But I guess that makes sense- get rid of all the tempting stuff before Lent so it won't taunt you during it!
