Restoration of Robinson House by allie912

Restoration of Robinson House

I have just returned from the Virginia Museum of Fine Arts, attending a fascinating lecture about the history the original building and the grounds of the VMFA. My head is spinning with all the factoids I picked up. For example, did you know that Grove Avenue, site of the Museum, took its name from the lush grove of oak trees which grew on this acreage? After the talk, Robinson House was open to tour. It has just recently completed an 18 month renovation and is now being used as an exhibit space and a tourist center. If you are at all curious about this topic, the speaker has a book detailing the history of the site.
I like the lighting and how this looks in the evening sky.
