One of the things I will definitely miss about school when I retire are the imaginative lunch offerings provided for faculty and staff. Today I chose the chicken curry with jasmine rice and the steamed broccoli. Then from the salad bar I added fresh cantaloupe, cottage cheese, and a few cherry tomatoes and chilled edamame. Every bite was delicious as I sat outside and caught up with a teacher I don’t see too often on a perfect blue sky day.
