Meet Tyler, recently high school graduate, heading off to William & Mary in a few weeks with all kinds of accolades and also my collection of CDs. When I mourned on FaceBook that I was getting rid of my extensive collection of classical music because I no longer had the means to play the CDs, Tyler’s mother volunteered that he loved classical music and would be happy to take the entire collection. I was thrilled that they would be going to a good home, but even more important, I was doubly thrilled to finally meet Tyler. He truly is a super Star, because his passion is astronomy. He writes, studies, teaches youngsters about and photographs the stars. He is nationally recognized for all his accomplishments. It was a real treat to finally meet him.
You are in the same position as me then Alison, I have load of CDs but nothing to play them on now & I also have a Alexa which can play anything I ask but if course you can put a CD on & have a good amount of music without always asking for next track. I still have them but wondering whether to keep them or not...if in doubt do nothing!
@happypat Exactly! I was finally motivated to get rid of them because I had to incorporate the stuff I brought home Now that I’m retiring. What a waste, but it is what it is. You can see why I am happy to find a good home for my music!
One tall guy and one little lady 🙂
