Today I went to a small pottery show not far from home. I learned about it because one of the potters is a FaceBook friend with whom I connected online because of our mutual love for the Swedish designer Gudrun Sjoden. Her work was charming and well made. I supported the arts community and gave myself an early Christmas present by buying one of her raku pears.
