A quiet afternoon at the polls. When asked, election officials said the traffic had been steady throughout the day. The two women you see on the left were trying to get responses to their assignment. The one in the back hoped you would sign a petition for a city council member to run for mayor of Richmond, and the woman in the front had a general questionnaire on voting from a survey company. Since I had no pressing business, I was happy to respond to both.
@phil_howcroft It was the Democratic primary to see who will run against tRump. It was called Super Tuesday because 14 states held primaries that day. There are still more to come before the delegate votes are tallied at the Democratic convention and the party candidate is selected. It is down to 2 choices and I just want the one best able to beat the national disaster currently in the White House,
I am quite surprised, without being ageist ... that both frontrunners seem quite old . The race for president seems like a hard slog up to elections !
