Yesterday I went to a members’ preview at the Virginia Museum of History and Culture to see the 100 water colors selected for the 41st annual exhibit of the Virginia Watercolor Society. The work ranged from traditional landscapes and portraits to abstract works and everything in between. The quality was high and the works were for sale. You could also vote on a People”s Choice winner. If you are in the Richmond area, it is worth a visit. These are not your typical Sunday afternoon amateur paintings.
