Guilty as Charged

I am heartbroken. I just got a notice from the condo association that feeding birds is prohibited. I realize living in a community means giving up certain rights but watching and caring for these visitors has been such a joy during this time of isolation. And of course I have 20 pounds of birdseed coming today.

Such a pity you're not permitted to feed the animals. My dad feeds the birds in his backyard, and nobody tells him he can't do it.

I am so sorry. I've been enjoying your pictures of the birds and squirrels, too. I wonder what the reason is?

@eudora The concern was the possibility of unwanted rodents. I was able to negotiate an extension to use up my 20 pounds of bird seed and then I got approval to keep my suet feeders that don’t attract pests so I feel a little better.
