I took this picture from the south side of the James River in Westover Hills. The water level is rather low right now, but not far from here, in downtown Richmond where the river goes over the fall line is the only place in the country where extensive class III whitewater conditions exist within sight of skyscrapers.
Great photo composition and framing to produce a very interesting picture. Interesting info -- had no idea that Class 3 whitewater existed in Richmond.
