Same neighborhood, a different day. This cat is singing a different tune from the white kitty I photographed a few days ago. I can't say he looks any happier, but you know what our Founding Fathers said, "The price of Liberty is Eternal Vigilance." This cat is definitely keeping a watchful eye on me.
Oh, I have a soft spot for little black kitties, too. Your pictures make me think of a saying I have hanging on the wall beside me here, "You will always be lucky if you know how to make friends with strange cats." And, well, isn't this appropriate for you...It's a Colonial American Proverb...right from your neck of the woods! I've enjoyed your kitty pictures!
I thinking on call it a night when suddenly there was this black cat staring at me; at first I thought I was asleep dreaming about a cat named "Midnight" that I had many, many years ago. BUT NO -- I am actually wide awake and the cat is on the Popular Page.
