My friend Pat was back in Richmond for a few days from her new home in Mt. Dora, Florida. We met for lunch at Yum Yum Good with our mutual friend Jackie. We have known each other since our kids were born. We have so many shared memories of both joy and sorrow that we can talk in a kind of verbal shorthand and finish each other's sentences. It is good to have such dear friends but sad when we see each other so seldom.
