Looking at this sky, you might think central Virginia was finally getting the soaking rain we were all hoping for. Alas, by morning last night's rain had dwindled to a sky of dramatic clouds and a whole lot of humidity. We haven't given up, but it no longer looks like a sure thing.
Several comments have noted the B&W. Actually this is SOOC with a little boost in contrast. The day was dark enough so the color was drained from everything.
Nice capture! And it's all about timing. I was noticing the clouds on my way home tonight ...now the sun is shining though so they look rather pretty again!
