Glorious Rain!

We finally got the soaking rain we need. It started last night, let up to a light mist during the day and then this afternoon turned back to a comforting soaking rain that we hope will continue through the night. No one is complaining, not even the kindergartners whose field trip to the apple orchard today was slightly soggy.

I think your leaves and berries in this photo seem "happy" to be covered with life-giving rain drops. I'm sure their roots are drinking the liquid and rest of the plant is glad to have dust and dirt washed off.
We are getting rain too. We got rain yesterday (wed) and the weather forecast is for 4-6 inches of rain today, tonight, and tomorrow.
