Today I took a workshop at the Virginia Museum of Fine Arts on using PhotoShop Elements. A few of the secrets of this program were revealed but there is so much left unexplored. At lunch I took my sandwich into the new E. Claiborne and Lora Robins Sculpture Garden where the internationally renowned Japanese-American artist Jun Kaneko had designed an installation including 8 of his dangos, slender, 9-foot-tall, totem-like forms. I used Elements to give this scene a dramatic effect. Now if I could figure out how to create a frame...
Nicely done. There's so much to learn in the processing of our images. The more I learn, the more I realize how much I don't know. I like seeing the way others process their photos on this site.
Photoshop is not very intuitive - at least not for me. I've been using it for a week or so - and still go back to Photoscape and Picnik for a lot of things. Eventually.... You did a great job on this one - it's a great shot!
